Unionized Contracting is a family owned and operated business who recently replaced our roof. Danny and Cory are passionate about their business and took great care in understanding my questions and the needs of my roof and merging both into an easy to understand quote and contract. The roofing crew was organized, well supervised and hard working. The work site was kept neat at the end of each day and the job was done on time and budget. I first met with Cory Benoit when I started shopping around for a roofer. I live in a semi and I was responsible for gathering a few quotes; as was my neighbor who was also searching for quotes. Between the 2 of us we obtained approx 8-9 quotes for having our roof redone. Cory was incredibly professional; of all the roofers who I called he spent the most time up on the roof. When he came down he spent a decent amount of time in my house talking to myself and my wife about our roof and the overall service they provide. Without me asking he gave an incredible amount of detail; references, BBB certificate, Insurance certificate. He was straight forward and honest about what to expect. After I meet with my neighbor to discuss the various options we had I recommended using Cory, the price was right down the middle of all the quotes we had recieved. We would just like to start by saying Thank-You to the crew, they came in and were very professional. The sales representative was very knowledgeable. He presented us with a full quotation package including: Master Business Licence, Operating License, Valid Insurance, and a Full list of references ... These guys mean business! What took me back the most was how punctual the company was on every occasion from the estimate, to the signing of the contract, to the completion of the roof, to payment. I appreciate that they didn't waste my time or ruin my yard, I must mention that not one piece of garbage was found around my home. That being said they were not cheap nor were they the most expensive but we definitely got our money's worth, they cut no corners. I would recommend this company without hesitation to anyone. I first met Danny at Unionized Contracting in the fall of 2015. At that time, he recommended that the lower roof be looked at for water damage. He was very informative and did not push me into doing anything at that time. Early Spring 2016 we lost shingles during a severe wind storm. I called the company and they promptly followed-up with my request for a full assessment. We were advised to replace the lower roof immediately and that our back could possibly wait a year. I respected their honesty and common-sense approach to repairing our roof. Danny and Corey were very helpful in explaining the process. In the end we had the entire roof replaced. I was very impressed and pleased with the on-going communication, as we experienced some delays as a result of the rainy spring. The price was very competitive, and their attention to customer service was great! They even painted the decorative pieces on the home while high up on the roof! Great Job!! We spent a lot of money and thought we had done our research for a new roof...spent extra money on shingles and workmanship ...to be ripped off by Baxter Roofing........who are no longer in business...a roof is an investment...thank goodness for Unionized Contracting....We would recommend this company ...Cory and workers came and fixed the leaks and cleaned any mess they made. . We were pleased with the job done by Unionized Contracting in spring 2010. Cory presented us with a complete and professional quotation package when he came to give us an estimate. He answered all of our questions and made some good suggestions. Our job was completed on time and on budget. The crew was respectful of our property and worked safely. We were not required to pay until the dumpster was removed. Theirs was not the cheapest price we got, but we are confident that we received the quality workmanship we were seeking for the price we paid. Returned my call within a reasonable time - so many don't even call back. Arrived when they said they would - listened to our suggestions on the project and actually used them!!
